Simply put, we will never disclose your personal information to third parties for profit (or a good time). Other sites may do this because third parties pay big bucks for real estate website data and mailing lists. We are not in the business of making money this way. We make it with membership fees. We exist to serve our members, not profit off their personal information. We will only use member information internally to measure our growth, track patterns of use and the like, or whatever, to help use improve our services to our members, our measure of success.
We Do Not Sell Leads or Mailing Lists
Our business model is not based on selling leads or mailing lists, like many free sites. When a site accepts advertising, or partners with third parties to trade your personal information for profit, one reason is to obtain customer leads. This is not illegal but we don’t do it. If you are concerned other sites will sell your personal information to an advertiser or put it in a mailing list, or as a lead to a partner or advertiser, carefully read their Privacy Policy & Terms of Use . Look for terms like “ad networks”, “third party ad servers”, “partners” “co-branded”, etc. This is not meant to imply that such lead selling is not for your benefit. It may be if you want to risk being on a mailing list which may be further circulated. Next thing you know, you're spam bait. Not at Sellsius.
